Hi guys i'm about to put some 19" wheels on my A4 2011 and i was wondering if 245/40/19 tires would be alright even if it's a 4% difference in ratio...
I know that the perfect size for 19"s are 245/35/19 but i live in Montréal where potholes are more like craters!!!
So is there anyone here that rides with 245/40 or have any feedbacks on that setup.

look at post #487 and #494 by DATZ. he's running 245/40/19 but in winter tires.

The thing is that i know that it will fit,i just want to know if there will be any issues in a long term.
My other concern is that i'll be droping the car either by 1.5" or 2" and i think if i do that the tires will rub!

 

he is dropped on H&R OE springs 1.2". best is to contact him and ask if he has any issues.

The other thing that i have to consider is that my VMR wheels have a +35 offset
