PS Just went on Ross-Tech, surprised that for the price you still have to download the software and documentation. There's no expiry date on it, correct?

 

Yeah the software is free and the people at Ross Tech are awesome to deal with. If you buy the cable from them you are entitled to all of the software, and free help/advice with it.

A few people have bought knock-off cables from ebay, but they usually don't work out well.

 

you can also get it locally from their auth rep in Oakville. I'm considering getting the cable/dongle and software as I haven't had much luck getting someone to do the mods for me.
