Hey guys. New here and just taking a long shot in the dark but I was thinking about buying this AUDI A4 2002 for sale. Here is the link.

...and just like the ad says it won't crank but the car is in beautiful condition selling for $2,200.

So my question for the more experienced owner is this..Do you think it is worth the trouble of trying to fix? Or should I steer clear and avoid a can of worms? What do you think of the price?

Maybe you should get a mechanic with a vag com to scan it and have a look at it before you buy it. Might be worth it.

 

If your asking this question I'd steer away from it. If you know your stuff try to figure out why it won't start. I power it up and use a vagcom on it.

 

It does not start because the engine was overheated and it is shot. Replacement is at minimum $13,000.00 and you can not do it yourself.
