Wondering if I can get some input from fellow A4 drivers. My ABS control unit went bad a while ago. Tried to have it fixed but it failed. Now I am sourcing a used one to try to go that route.
Can someone who has dealt with his problem confirm that all modules (# 8E0 614 517 A) fit all model years 2002 to 2005? Models (B6) A4 4cyl, 6cyl, Quattro. NOT FWD.
I got this information directly from dealer but when I go online to search on various sites as well as ebay, they clearly distinguish that 2002 and 2003 are different from 2004 and 2005.
I found one unit on ebay with same part number, from the same model car except it’s 2004. Drop down menu search says it does not fit my car. (2002)
I tend to trust dealer on this but you never know.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
