Default Buying an '07 RS4

Hi,
I'm a new member to the forums and am looking to buy an RS4. If anyone has any pointers or a "buyers guide" I'd really appreciate any information or advice you may have.

Thanks in advance!

  • Make sure the DRC (Dynamic Ride Control) suspension recall has been completed
  • Have it inspected by a reputable audi dealer before you agree to buy
  • See if the person had a carbon clean done to the car

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Also Audi has a great aftermarket warranty available that you can buy. I think I paid around $3k (3 years of coverage) for my 08 RS4 which had 17K Km on it.

Are you able to get that warranty on US cars brought into Canada?

Thanks.

^^^post more on that please...the Audi warranties I was shown were like $7,000, not $3,000. That was on my B7 S4.

When I was buying an RS4 to add an extra year to CPO (2yrs/40kms --> 3yrs 60kms) was $3000 for that extra year alone.

also RS4 cab...wow rare beast up here. Saw one in oakville last week in Daytona Grey. Looks great.

Ever weigh yours?

It is a relatively new warranty program (not CPO but better). I bought it from Audi Uptown ask for Scott Corbett

No I have never weighed it but I assume it is whatever Audi says it weighs?

cool, will do

the weights reported are Euro weights. Generally nowhere near our weights.

Was just wondering the weight difference between the cab and the sedan for interest's sake, that's all.
