Default Buying audi a6 2.7t

I'm buying a year 2000 Audi a6 2.7t it has 186,000 miles guys selling it for $2500 just wondering if it would be a good idea and if it would last me a while

For 2500 with that many miles, if you are looking for something reliable and inexpensive, I would look elsewhere. Audi are nice cars, I love mine, but need some $$$ when they need to be fixed. Plus the 2.7t, if it is not taken care of as they get older, its trouble.

Depending on what maintenance has already been done, that car could cost you upwards of 10k parts in 1 year. If the turbos go, the transmission goes, the timing belt needs replacement...oops somebody liead and said it was done and then it snapped.... I meant add another 2-3k
