Default oil leaking problems plz need help

hi guys

I have a 2000 audi a6 2,8. ive smelled strong burning smell and can see the smoke from the passenger side from the hood. this has been couple month. I took to the autoshop and they told me that the cost gonna be around 2000. is this reasonable price?? the replacement gonna be timing belt and idlers, timing chain tensioner gaskets, belt dampner, water pump, all cam seals and crank seal, reseal valve cover and bleed systems. can anyone give me some help advise plz?

That is around the going rate. I had my timing belt and water pump as a provision before I bought the car. It is very expensive to do this but the smell is horrible.

2000 for all that, sounds right. My timing belt alone was 1400 with all that and then 1200 for cam seals a year later.
