Well Everyone, I'm new to these forums i have merged here from vwvortex as i no longer own a GLI, I have now a new project in mind.

I have a 1997 Audi A4 B5 Quattro 1.8T, No i really want to get the Best Clean sound from this car, And i would appreciate some suggestions on Exhaust info.

I don't have any prior Experience with exhaust so the more informative you are the better ^_^, I have heard about Down pipes, Test pipes, Straight piping and headers, With all these options it's hard for me to find an affordable solution, Ideally i would like my engine to purr like the 2.8T V6 (Yea i know i only have the 4), but getting close to that sound w/o causing alot of attention while im not pushing my car.

So please any Exhaust idea's would be great.

It all depends on what your ultimate goal with the car will be. There are many, many options available. If you are just looking for sound, then go with a cat-back exhaust. If your looking for performance do a turbo-back system. To take advantage of your free flowing exhaust i would then consider getting a software upgrade (APR, Revo, Unitronic...there are many) The shop that i have dealt with for years (GT Custom Exhaust, in Pickering) will build anything you want and they do amazing work. I would suggest going on youtube and just listening to all the exhausts to find the one that you want.
