Is it my imagination, or does the A4 go through washer fluid REALLY quickly. I'm wondering if it's because of the number of jets (and the amount that it sprays out with each use)?

Tough to tell if it is leaking (ground is wet and/or snowy most days)....but I find it hard to believe it would be???

 

I think it uses quite a bit. Each jet is spraying 3 times + the headlight washers occasionally as well. If you have to use it a lot I can see it going through it very quickly. That said, I've only had mine since April of last year and I think I've only filled it up 2-3 times so far at 15K km.

 

I'm relieved that somebody else has noticed the thirst the A4 has for for washer fluid. I refill my reservoir every 5 days!!!!! I swear the total number of pulls on my washer stalk totals no more than a dozen between refills of washer fluid. Initially I thought a leak, but all is dry. Apart from this thirst for washer fluid the car is simply phenomenal.

 

Mines still pretty new and weather been pretty decent for the most part so I haven't used much but was surprised to see 3 steams per over my 07 that had 1 per. Was thinking at this rate I might just buy stock in the stuff!! Lol

 

Ok, today I thought it must be leaking for sure....but now reading others experiencing the same thing makes me wonder. I swear I've only used it *maybe* 12 times since refilling and the light came on today. I should buy some in bulk!

 

noticed the same thing. consumes more than my B7

 

yup same here now... had just shy of 2 months and rarely use the washers and light came on yesterday.
