Suprised to not see any treads on Audi imports from Japan. I was just out for a test drive in an Audi a4 1996 1.8t. and came here to begin due diligence on the purchase of these 15 year old import law vehicles. But searched revealed zippo. Anyone who can enlighten me on these cars ?

 

What would be the point of importing a car that was available here?

 

I think price primarily

 

96 and older A4's can't be worth all that much.

 

they appear to export for anout 1800. and by the time they land its a bout 3-3500, with a resulting sale price of 4500. but have low kms, the one I saw had 130000km
