Question about Ipod plug in A4

I purchased a fully loaded A4 Avant (minus the NAV system) and I am just wondering about the Ipod connection.

Can anyone give me some information on it? Does it work well? Can you plug any USB devise in there? Let’s say a USB key with a bunch of songs?

My car is being delivered in December.

 

Just found your post, I have a new A4 coming at the end of March and was wondering what your experience has been like with the Audi music interface?

 

Wonderful, the ipod option is the easiest. I loaded a lot of songs and the interface
allows you to sort them any which way. No complaints at all. Easy, simple and it works.

 

The ipod plugin is at the passenger side
what you need to do is put the songs into ur ipod as usual,
connect ur ipod the the wire which might need to purchase from them
and in MMI choose "source" and "ipod"
Simple!
