MSR Wheel Corrosion
I bought after market wheels for my TT and my wife's Subaru for winter tires. The ones I got for the Subaru were engineered in Germany and built in China. Sport Edition F7. After three winters they look like new.
The TT got MSR wheels made in the good ol' USA. After three winters, they look like hell. Corrosion and flaking paint around the lug holes in the wheel centre where the bolts have scraped the paint off and exposed the metal to road salt.
Both cars' factory wheels (TT made in Italy, and Subaru made in the USA) still look like new, though they are not used in winter.
Anyone else have bad experience with MSR wheels?
