Default Leaking Gas

So I just spent the last week with my car out of service, while I replaced all 8 control arms. Have it on the road again for 3 days, and I'm starting to smell gas in the cabin, and when I exit the car after parking. I get in to work this morning, and take a look near the gas tank, and I'm actually leaking gas from underneath (rear passenger side).

From what I've read this could be a fuel pump seal? Am I correct in thinking one would go at this from inside the trunk? The access panel is under the carpet I think. Or do I have to lift up the whole rear seat?

Also, is this a problem that would develop rather quickly? There wasn't a hint of gas or any leaks before last week.

Thanks for the help!
