Tirerack.com is the best price and they will quote u the customs and everything. You will pay almost double here. I got some great rims to go with my tires that look better than stock Audi rims for no more than winter tires. Only thing is most rims need a mounting spacer. They gave me a metal one which had issues after the winter. Sourcing some plastic ones as recommended by others. Also remember to keep short lugs for spare tire in car as u will usually need longer lugs for the winter tires.

Thanks. Do you know what is the minimum size of rims for 2010 S4?

Here is what I went with. One winter and all I can say is DAMN that was a good purchase. You have the grip when you want it but with the power you can slide right out of it on the snow. The only performance issue I noticed which is expected is the grip on dry days when you are doing an off ramp. Just get ready for the car to feel like it is sliding when you do anything sudden. It is just until the tire bits and then the stability comes back. I think you will find this with any winter tire though.

The oz racing rims were a bonus as they were a clear out and look awesome. Going down a size also was a good move I found.

As I said before the only problem is that the centering ring stuck after the winter. Solution I am told is to use plastic centering rings which I will order this summer for the winter set.

I just used Sorat Wheels and ordered my summer wheels and Hankook Evo V12s. Great price and good service was my experience.

If you have them shipped to Monroe Muffler in Niagara Falls, then drive down to have them installed there, your costs will drop dramatically. You can walk over to the Prime Outlet Mall and kill an hour or two easily.

this...

Shipping: $264.47
HST: $171.52
Duty: $78.00
Provincial Tire Fee: $23.36
Brokerage Fee: $30.00
Total CDN fees = $567.35
turns into

shipping: $90

Even if you declare them at the border on the way back, the only fee you'll pay is that $78 in duty. So you'll still save $400. While you're there, get a full tank of gas at a 20% savings and the gas you use to go there and back will be just about covered by your gas savings on that one tank.

Good to know. Just didn't have time to do all that. Will keep that in mind though for future rubber.

I went through Tire Rack. I saved about $500 after the smoke cleared and the tires have a date stamp of August 2011 so they weren't sitting around for years in a warehouse. When it's time to replace them I'm going to check them out again.

Anyone put 235-40/18 or 225-45-18 on their S4. I hear the 245 is too wide and does not provide great traction in the snow.

There's a smoking deal on for Blizzak 19" 225/40 LM-25's at Tirerack. Comes to under $800 shipped (if you don't want to drive to Niagara as Sakimano notes above).

Will be a tad stretched on the stock 8.5" rims, and 19" vs 18", but seems like an amazing deal for performance winter tires? They are older tech tires though.

Riptorn- which Blizzak's did you get? The LM60s or WS60s?
