Hi guys, I m new to the site just recently picked up my second audi. Anywho quick question I' ve been reading a million threads about this and still stand unanswered. I have an hks ssqv and i heard a numerous mixed opinions, can i actually make this bov work without extensive difficulties ? I seen videos of people having a bov such as mine. I have this bov from my previous car, I like how it sounds and rather not purchase another one or dv. Its an 03 a4 if it makes any difference.I figured you guys would know best . Why put a vent-to-atmosphere valve in place of one that recirculates? Obviously, you are completely changing the system; and, you'll be running the charge-air system in less-than-ideal conditions. A rule of automobile modification that I live by: if you don't understand completely what it is that you're doing, don't do it.

 

I read some threads on it and also seen videos of people switching from dv to bov ...i thought maybe remapping th sensor would do the trick, I have built a n/a car to a turbo car, so I know my share, i was just wondering if anyone on this forum has done this, or what it would take to do this, if its not worth the time or money I won't do it, i just have a spare hks i would love to put to use.
