Default How to get in the trunk with no power

I had to laugh this weekend when I went to recover my car from storage. Because it is a cold storage (up to -45C for weeks) I pulled the battery last fall, closed the trunk and manually locked the door. This spring I charged the battery went to the storage facility and discovered I had no way to get into the trunk to reinstall the battery. I could have pop the hood and "jumped" the car but I did not think to bring cables. Then I remembered the car has an emergency trunk release. I lowered the rear seat (S5 Coupe), crawled into the trunk and pulled the emergency handle. Installed the battery and went for a much need car wash.

I drove A5 last winter and got slaughtered.
Even with chip guard; the windshield and front spoiler looked like a golf ball in the spring. I live in northern Alberta; a Truck town, where the low profile of the car matches the "debris" trail of trucks perfectly. If you slow down and leave a space, someone will pass you and fill it.
When I traded the A5 in on the S5, I decided to avoid winters. Changed jobs, got Company truck
Regarding the pics and mods - I made a video an posted it on Youtube - Called 2010 S5 Stasis Challenge. I will follow with pics for the Form.
