To each his own, but for me, I wouldn't spend money to make my car look like **** on purpose.
I have never gotten this matte finish thing.
Maybe because as a kid, one of my neighbours had a badass Monte Carlo he was restoring, but he was lazy, and once he got it primed, he didn't get around to painting it, and it ended up starting to rust! So when I see flat finishes, I think of his lazy *** and how he ruined that classic.
