I recently bought a my 1997 2.8L Quattro that has 137xxx miles on it. The person that I bought it from only had it for a couple months and has minimal maintenance records on it. I have checked all of the general stuff like changed the oil, checked all of the fluids and everything is good. It might have a small oil leak cause I can see some grease on one side of the engine and underneth but, so far the levels have stayed the same. I know the timing belt should be changed about evey 70,000 miles and I am thinking this is comming up soon. I am really just looking for other suggestions to look at for preventive matinance becuase of the limited knowlage that I have of the maintaince records. Thank you!
