I am new to this forum, having recently joined after buying a 1984 Audi GT Coupe, as a winter get-around car.

Wondering if anyone can help me identify what the original factory specs were on the battery for a GT Coupe ?

Currently I am running with a much smaller dimension battery, and would like to put in something that fits the battery bracket properly and offers the correct capacity.

I have a good local battery shop, but don't know precisely what to ask them for.
