Default Taking delivery ?

Good day all,

Taking delivery of my Q5 3.2 Prestige tonight.

Would like to know what I should check to make sure the preparation department has not left things on the bench and everything I am supposed to get is in the car.

Here's a summary of the options and accessories:

Options:
Navigation system;
B&O system;
Wood inlet;
19in rim option.

Accessories:
Trailer hitch;
Side steps;
Rear head set DVDs;
Remote starter
  • I think the Ipod cable adaptor should be included, right?
  • I read on other post that the cargo net should be in, right?
  • I also read that the cross bars should be in as well (although, not sure about this one)
  • Wheel lock nut key
  • 2 wireless head sets and 2 remotes (Rear DVD)
  • 2 remotes (Remote starter access), 1 2-way and 1 1-way
Anything else I should double check before I leave the dealer?

Greatly appreciated

Will post pictures soon.

above (ipod cable, cargo net, cross bars) looks right (though I didn't get DVD accessory so I don't know about head sets and remotes).
Also get user manual, MMI 3G manual, quick reference user reference. Probably a DVD manual (but again, I didn't get DVD, so not sure)
Oh yes, and you will get a permanent smile on your face during your driving experience.

also got wheel locks in a box (not sure if this was a bonus, but I did get them) - 4 bolts (one for each wheel) and what looks like big tweezers

Make sure you get two key fobs and a valet key from them. There's also a plastic strip with a chip in it that stores all information about the vehicle and sufficient to manufacture a replacement key fob, don't forget to ask if they do.
Roof bars are included for sure, it's not an optional equipment.
I didn't get wheel bolts in the box and my wheel lock socket has a place in the trunk, hidden deep down under a few covers.

Nice ride you're getting there, congratulations!

I guess not...At least not before it reached Halifax!

Can't wait. 2 more hours.

Dealer said the color combination is awesome.
He likes the effect of the side steps.

Will pass by the house before I head to the dealer to grab my camera and take pictures while the baby is clean

No problem.

Going to the Mont Orford (Eastern Townships) for the weekend so it will be only at the beginning of next week or late Sunday evening.
