12v power outlet

My 2010 A3s 12v power outlet always has power even when the car is off. Can this be changed? I would it to power when the ignition is on only. Thanks.

you would have to re wire it so that it is running through a power source controlled by the ignition.

Probably outlet is died, check the breaker panel or check the wiring If the wires are not properly joined then it creates the problem.....

im fairly certain you dont want to re wire the outlet. theres nothing you can do, unless you can find some sort of coding that can be changed by vagcom, doubt it tho
