Default Frozen Windows

My windows were frozen as it was -8 and had problems closing the door and also a Creaking noise from panoramic sunroof as what would i do when it gets to -30 so called my Audi Dealer in Montreal and told him my problem and i thought he was going to sell me some magic stuff .

Well he told me to go to a pharmacy and get GLYCERIN which they sell for $4 dollars at my local pharmacy and put it all over the rubber from the doors as i thought he was joking well turned out this stuff works great and my windows are not freezing and sunroof not creaking anymore as it was a -11 this week and not one sound .

Happened to us yesterday as well. Door would not latch, window would not open — all that rain over the weekend then the deep freeze. The door did shut properly once I worked the latch with my finger a bit with wd40 and interior heated up. Window also started to work once the car warmed up.

Interesting little querks with the allroad never a dull moment. But best winter car I have owned.
