Just ordered my new a5 s-line.....really excited! However won't get delivery till Jan of next year. (god grant me patience.....but please hurry) all that being said anyone know of any place I can get a set of winters for a decent price?

I am shopping for winter tires / wheels as well. I found the prices on 1010's web site for the performance winter's are only marginally better than Costco. I am kind of disappointed.

I just got my A4 winter tires at Car Kraze Auto in Bramton. Excellent service good prices. I ended up getting Michelin X-Ice2 and replica rims.

Try Steelcase Tires n mags at 187 Steelcase Road West, Markham. West off of Woodbine Ave just North of Steeles. Ask for Jim Bridgeman or Dave Holmshaw . 416-492-9992 or 905-479-8884. I've been dealing with them since 1989 and they are most fair and honest firm around. A bit of a line up at Spring and Fall changeover time, but well worth wait and price. They will advise on best tire for you and your car and are not looking just to upsell and take your money.

I checked out 1010 they are about $400 more than simplytire for the same tire and rim. Now I know where I am getting it, any suggestions on which tire to get? Narrowed it down to 3.

Not surprised but nice to have it confirmed that Allen is that competitive. I'd ask Allen what he recommends and would guess that the Pirelli's will be his recommendation since you're in T.O. (seems he's not as happy with the Wintersport 3D's compared to the M3's). I absolutely love the Dunlop Wintersports M3's although they are no longer available up here. After having 2 sets previously (A4 and RS4) and comparing them to a few others including Blizzak LM's, I just purchased a set of M3's from Tire Rack for my TT.

 

Go to tires23. I picked up some Michelin Alpine PA3 tires w/ S4 replicate rims for my TT. Otherwise order off of tirerack.com
