New Audi Fan
Hi All,
I want to thank all of you who participate here, I have been lurking for a while and have learned much from what you have shared. A lot of great info and wonderful personalities!
This weekend I made the commitment and purchased a 2011 Q5 2.0 (Nav, B&O, S line, Sunroof). I've been lusting after this car for a couple of years, the new 2.0 engine finally sealed it for me. Huge jump for me, it's our first luxury car and both our current cars are 10+ years old (still in fantastic condition, too, which made it hard to justify the purchase!).
Special mention for Alex , who I contacted a couple weeks ago based on his input on the forum. I highly recommend anyone who is considering a purchase to contact him, he's a pleasure to work with!
Now I just have to wait the 3 months for delivery!

Congrats on the new purchase! you are in the same boat as me, waiting and yearning for your new 2.0T Q5.
We will have to hook up when you get yours, sounds like we are in the same area, and we'll be getting our Q5's at almost the same time.
What colour did you go with?

Hi Craig - I went with Lava Grey with brown interior. My wife really loved the cinnamon brown so that decision was made for me 
. I live very close to the dealership, would be cool to meet up when we finally get these bad boys and compare notes...

Wow, we have the exact same taste. We went with the Lava gray with black interior. I really wanted the Cinnamon brown but my wife didn't like the colour.

Cinnamon brown is crazy gorgeous, back then you couldn't get sline with the brown, that's the only reason I had to ditch Sline, the brown was way too nice to pass on. Everybody has black interior.

I am also a recent Alex F convert - ordered my 2011 2.0T prem +, Phantom Black, Nav, sunroof, Cardamom interior in June - with delivery in Oct - can't wait. Current estimate is Oct 18th dealer delivered - looks like there may be a lot of us showing up in Oct.
