Default 2009 TTS License Plate

Hi All,

I just bought a TTS from US (Los Vegas) but it does not have a bracket for the front license plate. Does any body know how can I install it?

Thanks

I did. But they said it will cost me ~$800!

Can I replace this part myself?

Thanks

OUCH !! Not sure what they're including for that ... If its similar to the RS4 one then yes, its 3 minutes and 2 screws. Best to get in touch with ECS and ask the question ...

Good luck !

Thanks Steve.

Do you know if MKII is the same as TTS? I will contact ECS.

Is this the ONLY part that I need to change or I need to change the whole fron Bumper?

Your feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

MSRP is $360 from a Canadian dealer. $800 sounds high, but that likely includes installation.

Unlike the RS4, the hardware for the TT/TTS licence plate bracket/filler panel can only be accessed from behind the bumper cover. To remove the filler panel that you currently have and install the licence plate bracket, the front bumper cover must be removed.

Thanks. What canadian dealer are you referring to?

Is there any way that I get more info on how to remove the bumper cover?

Any dealer. Their pricing should be consistent across Canada. Personally I'd likely still order the part from ECS Tuning even if you want to have a dealer install it. You'll probably save money even after shipping and duty. I don't think there's any info on this forum, but I'd try searching a few other forums for info on bumper removal.
