Confirmed for the USA, hopefully that means we're getting it too.

I'm not digging it? Am I the only one?

The looks are ok, the engine is the part I don't like, 450HP at 8,250 RPM? 317 ft/lbs of torque? The current S5 develops 325ft/lbs???

I was hoping for more, supergharged V8 or twin turbo V8. I don't see the point of this car coming to Canada, if I thought the chances were slim before. Though it has been confirmed that is going to the US, I doubt we'll see it.

Please tell me that's - at the least - a DSG transmission and not a wanna be paddle shifting automatic... This car with an automatic will be a travesty!

Most cars like this, real car enthusiasts, would want in manual. So i think it should come in standard, but hey look at GTR

Edit: never mind, I'm guessing that this is the DL501 transmission...?)

The DSG layout's a bit different than the one used in the A3 as there is no "sport" setting. Even though the layout has "D", is there an automatic Drive mode or is it manual DSG shifting all the time? The later situation would be somewhat cool

I put a deposit on an RS5 2 months ago and was told it would be here summer '11. The dealer called me last week and said that it would be delayed another yet

I guess I will stick with my RS4 for now but looking at other options
