Default Summer Tire Advice

My 2002 180Q needs some new shoes for the summer. Any recommendations? I'm looking for something sporty. Current tires are Toyo Proxes.

I looove my RE-01R - best Summer tires I've ever ran; and, the RE-11 are supposed to even (marginally) better. Overall grip in the wet and dry are incredible for a non-R-comp, and the breakaway is predictable and linear. I've ran them down to -10°C on dry roads and they are still safe. I haven't noticed any significant road-noise characteristics, but I'm probably not the best person to comment on that as my car is full of poly bushings, spherical bearings, and a loud exhaust

I decided on the Hankook V12 evos. They got great reviews and are a bargain compared to the Michelins. I've heard some people complain about mushy sidewalls, but I don't track the car so this probably won't be an issue for me.

Let us know what you think once you've put some miles on them. BTW, some have suggested that the top rated Michelin PS2's have soft sidewalls ...

Another vote for the V12's. I've had them on since late feb and I'm really liking them so far.
