do I have to put Pirelli's? I have to change 2 tires at the back because the side wall of my rear left tire is gone. a lot of places are telling me I should replace it and the other said it's ok..too confusing. What do you guys think?

 

I would recommend changing all 4 depending on how much wear is on you other 2 tires (front), for a Quattro, I think it might be wise to have all 4 tires about the same wear. Does not have to be pirelli's, that would depend on personal pref and financial limitations.

Probably someone with more experience could answer this,but this is from my limited understanding.

 

from my personal experience, it is better to change all 4 because if the tires are not even, the car might not be driving straight. My car was like that when i first got it, then changed all 4 tires and voila, straight as an arrow.
