Thought that is a standard feature, or was that an upgrade?

 

Yeah, I was disappointed with that too. Can this be added after purchase? The panel seems meant to have a door through it.

 

I think it was an option in past years. The rear seats still split, right? On my B7 I just fold down the 40% side (driver side) and put the skis through there. Still allows up to 2 rear seat passengers.

 

Sure, they fold, but it's not as clean as having a door for when slimmer items are involved. On a decently up-market car, is it too much to ask for (slightly) more plastic material to enable a door AS WELL AS 40/60 split?

 

im just wondering, i have the ski bag option on my car b7 but is there away to remove it so I pass stuff from inside the car to the trunk?

 

Indeed. I was quite pissed at that when I try to open the ski opening to fit something long between my two child seats at the back 45k for a friggin car and no opening?

 

Disappointing to lose the pass thru. I had one on my 2004.

Has anyone checked to see if an upholstery shop or ? could cut the hole and professonally finish it? I think I heard that the seat back has an integrated steel plate which would add to the problem. Any suggestions?
