LOL - ok don't kill me guys! Just wanted to get your attention and to properly introduce myself. I don't have any audi YET - I'm currently leasing an IS250 rwd, manual and my lease will be up in exactly a year. Thought I'd join the forum as part of due diligence on getting as much info as I can as my next purchase will definitely be an audi. I would love an a5 but not sure if I can afford that...otherwise its the a4. So hello guys and I look forward to lurking and learning.

 

Welcome...my car purchase was between the is250 awd, 328xi, and the Audi. I'm glad I chose the Audi. It's fast, best interior, lots of room, and looks amazing. Not much more I can ask for!

 

well, i have experience on a IS250 RWD as well, it is the slowest among its class.

interior looks good IMO, but those lexus last forever..... and its cheaper to maintain, even from the dealership....

 

I would have to agree with u on those points. I wish it had even just a little more pull off the line...

Love the interior compared to its german counterparts. But audi has caught my eye with the a5 and its quattro for the winter...but so pricey (for me)

 

but yeah, compare to the 250 engine, either the 2.0T or the V6 will make you smile, you won't miss that engine at all....

well, except the gas mileage...

 

My friend bought a GS300 recently. It's nice.... and boring! I almost fell asleep driving it. Does not come close to my A6. My 4.2 is a maintainance nightmere, but its worth every penny ( I guess it helps I do everyhting myself).

Toyota has better elctronics - typical Japanese, but the Germans have the Autobahn! If you like to drive - no question German.

 

A co-worker here bought a IS250 recently and I was impressed by the service she was offered. He old car died a week before she was to receive her IS250 and Lexus said they would cover her rental!! Unheard of!
