Oxidation on body
This is the first time I've ever bought a white car (09 A4). I was just cleaning (washing and waxing) my car when I noticed a whole crap load of orange (looks like rust) spots all over my car. Especially by the wheels and trunk. I called audi they said it is the brake dust being oxidized on the body and told me to use some elbow grease and soap and water to get rid of it. It's tough, and can't get to all of them.
Is there an easy way to get rid of these spots?

I have the same thing on my subaru and was told the same thing. I waxed my car and most of them came off. If you rub it hard enough with a mit when soaping/washing the car or a microfiber cloth when polishing/cleaning, they will come off.
On second thought, you have a '09. I'd take your car back to the dealer and tell them to change your break pads to something with low brake dust and tell them to wash your car. People have been doing this with other makes and the dealerships haven't complained.
