Does anybody know how to change the climate control FROM Fahrenheit to Celsius?? I purchased a 98 A4 Quattro from the US, and when I was looking on Ebay for metric conversions instead of imperial, one comment from a guy selling the climate control unit said it's just a switch. I am in Calgary, so I called Glenmore Audi, and asked thier service dept., and he said it's only a matter of pushing the buttons in the correct sequence to automatically switch it over. Since the only country in the world that uses Fahrenheit for thier automobiles is the US, I cant see Audi making "special units" just for them!! They themselves use Celsius!! If you can also help me change the odometer (if possible without replacing) that would be awesome!!

Press and hold the driver side plus (+) and the recurculating (Arrow going into circle) button simultaniously, and if you can next time try using search, also Join the Calgary Audi Club, check the western section for more details

 

Thanks very much! I did look before posting, as I've been on other forums where people asked without looking and it bothered me..... so I'm sorry I couldnt locate it!

The way I found it worked best is by pushing the recurculating button first, then pushing the drivers side (+) once, and it worked for both the dash readout, and the climate control.
