I'm new to the Forum, so bear with me. My 2002 A4 is just out of dealer warranty, so I'm looking for a reliable shop in Ottawa. I've seen references to Independent Tuning and Performance Worx, but can't find them on the web or telephone book. Any suggestions? I have found Autobahn in Manotick, and understand they are good. I wouldn't mind another quote for my timing belt replacement.

HP auto in hull is a good place, u can also check out Speedy on Carling 820-9433.Also look out for Chris Tapp He's a straight shooter and very competitively priced for his work also has a "return poilcy" if you aren't happy .It's also done locally by Tapp Auto.

 

THanks. I'll check them out. Has anyone else had the timing belt etc job done? ANy suggestions on what is a good price?

I only bring my car to autobahn in manotick. Ive tried other places and was not happy. I've been only going there for past two years and am very happy with the service and work. Highly recomended.

 

Thanks. Any advice on where NOT to go? Manotick has been recommended, but without a shuttle service, is problematic for me. I have been investigating some shops in town.

 

Im trying out Autobahn this weekend for my 85,000 km servicing. I will let you know how it was!
