I just noticed that on some of the audi's, there is a sleek battery cover. Mine is the Black A4 with the exposed battery cover. I want the battery cover like the other A4. Do you guys know how much this will cost me? And where I can get it?

That cover comes stock so the only place your going to find it is probably dealer or a wrecker.
Btw you have a very clean engine bay lol

 

I picked one up for my A4 from the dealer. It's not too expensive, maybe $40 or so.

 

Hey I found a super slim high current battery about 1/3 of the size so that will be my new mod when my battery dies....weight reduction

 

are you talking about the optima batteries like the red top?

So I went to the dealer today and wanted to get the cap that the other audi's had as pictured above and the dealership keeps saying that there is no such thing!

like the silve audi is EXACTLY THE SAME AS MINE!
its a 1.8tq 2004

and it has the battery cover

can you guys please tell me if the dealer is right or wrong?
because i can CLEARLY see the battery cover on the silver audi which is for sale by the way in the "for sale" section.

I think these covers might have only been standard on the S4 and RS4 variants of the A4 family. Get the dealer to check part numbers under those models.

 

This is strange every B5 ive seen has come with a battery cover from factory and im almost a 100% sure every B6 came with one aswell.
