Default Auto Lights

Newbie Question. Last week I picked up a 2008 A4 Avant 2.0TQ. My first Audi. I like the auto light feature (whereby the lights turn on at dusk using sensors). My question is, is it ok to leave the lights in this setting after parking the car? I notice that the auto symbol stays lit up. We only drive on weekends and the occational weekday so tha car will be sitting for a few days at a time and I am a bit worried that this might be a drain on the battery. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Assuming that you are talking about the Auto option for your headlights right? Yes it is okay to leave it there and the auto should turn off once the car is locked and after about 2-5 minutes

Yes, I am talking about the specific light sensing option. Thanks, I figured it shouldn't be a problem but no where in the manual did it discuss leaving this function engaged 24/7.
