Default Has anyone made thier 1.8T a twin turbo?

I have been looking at upgrading my car in a few different ways; maybe a body kit / rims or engine upgrades. And that brings me to my question, has anyone made thier 1.8T into a twin turbo? (I have a 2002 A4 1.8T quattro w/ tiptronic.)

why? you can just upgrade the turbo itself and push the car up to 400ish HP with supporting mods

To be honest, i have never heard of anyone ever twin turbo a 4 cylinder engine. You would probably lose all efficiency of the second turbo. You can only ram so much air at a time.
Like what 1move said, it would be better to do one big turbo...start at a K04, the maybe 2871r

sorry, you lost me on this one. i dont know if your being sarcastic or not.

if you were being serious, your wrong. Cheaper definitly not. Look at the turbo alone..how is 2 of something going to be cheaper then 1 of them? and the second part about it "even has 4 cylinder" i jsut dont know what your trying to say.

i've done a few twin turbo setups, but in my opinion a single is far cheaper and just as useful. a twin setup on a 4 cylinder is just not worth the effort. if you want something different, then go for it. pm me if you want to see pics of my work.
