Default 2008 RS4 - Ipod Interface

Good day everyone,

I just got a 2008 RS4 and it came with the Ipod connection. The only thing is that when i connect my ipod it sees it has a CD with tracks (No albums, artist, playlist or song name)

Is this the way it should work?

Thanks !

Hi there. I've heard that the ipod thing is kind of vague. Members have posted concerns about this before. I think they end up just running playlists. I opted for the CD changer in my 2007 S4 instead, and use the SD memory card slots behind the navigation screen for digital music. Have you used those as well?

They display the music, on the SatNav screen, sorted in folders (Artist, Album, Songs). Fantastic. My friend has the ipod hookup and never uses it...he just uses the slots.
