CV Joints or Rear Differential
I have a 1999 Audi S4 bi-Turbo Quattro.
I get a vibration and shudder when making a hard turn from a standing start, i.e. 90 degrees into a bend. It vibrates and shudders for the first 2-5 meters until it clears.
It does not vibrate or shudder when I accelerate in a straight-line.
I was originally advised it was the centre torsen diff and after getting it reconditioned the problem is still present.
Has anybody body else with an Audi experienced the same problem?

General consensus seems to be that this is less of a "problem" but more of a hidden "feature" of Quattro. If it is a very sharp turn at very low speed many people report feeling the same thing and its because of the AWD, if you really want to experience it turn a lifted jeep in the same way and it'll be ripping the wheel out of your hands.
