Do you have all seasons, or winter tires? I suppose if you are in BC then you would use all seasons. In snowy parts of Canada do you folks run winters?

I have a 2001.5 S4.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta 1 (mine were studded) are the best winters I've ever run. I even did some TSD rallying in my old FWD vehicle, in some pretty serious snow and had full grip almost all the time. They also worked great as a gravel tire thanks to the super-aggressive tread. I believe they were replaced two generations ago, but if I found a set in my size, I would most definitely still run them.

Nokian tires in general are the best you can possibly buy for winter. Well worth the investment when compare to running of the road or rear-ending someone.

I am running Nokian WR's all year round. They are great in snow and on ice and are excellent in heavy rain which we have a lot of on the west coast. The only thing I dislike about the WR is that it rolls with a loud hum on dry highways.
