new to the forum and to audi's....just picked up my 08' A3 sline/open Sky/White Audi...

A few quetions to the audi masters....

1) I really want a BOV, what is a good bov to put on the car without popping lights...i would love a HKS SSQ i want that sound where it blows off in stages loud then quite and quieter... lol not too sure if u guys know what i mean. I want the BOV mainly for the sound i am not doing it as a performance mod..but is there any negatives to putting one on?

2) Looking for the S style side mirrors...the brushed matt alum. ones...anyone have any ideas where i can pick those up?

3) Anyone chip there car yet?

im in RH too ^^
from my understanding BOVs dont work well with vw/audi's cuz BOVs dump air outside and our systems use a DV which recirculates air back into the engine.

S mirrors could be found pretty much anywhere since its such a "popular" item

got friends with revo giac and all those other tier brands and im liking APR most

 

You would get sick of the sound anyway...

 

You could put it on... but our system uses MAF sensor. You'd run rich everytime you let off boost = shitty gas mileage.

 

if you want sound and good gas mileage look into the Carbonio intakes there is a carbon fiber one and it makes your car louder as well as saves you 1-2 mpg of gas and some people have said it may increase hp as well. its pretty popular i have seen a lot of people get this mod.
