Default Lead me to a tire thread?

ey all i just bought a 01 a4 and i believe its got the 15
s on it. What tires can i put on it.
Also whats the biggest rim and deepest dish i can go. Usually theres a thread with all the answers but i cant find it.

To to tirerack.com. You can see what size rims/tires you can put on. Also see ratings and reviews of various tires.

yeah i was lookin on there for a while, I was lookin at something wider then a 205 like a 235 but at the same time i dont want it to rubb the fenders

You can also look on the fuel door. There's tire pressure and size specs.

I run 235/45/17's and they don't rub. But the speedo is off by 10%

One of the stock sizes for the B5 is 225/45-17. Whether it rubs or not depends on the wheels you choose. ET35 with 225 would be fine, ET30 would be marginal depending on how low your car is.

i would just like to have 2 sets of tires some for the winter and some for the summer. Cuss i really dont like these ''ALL SEASON" tires. I heard they were tryin to band them....may be just a roumour but i think they should cus they SUCK! lol

IMHO all seasons will never be banned. They're a compromise, no doubt, but not everybody has the space to store a 2nd set of tires.

I would highly recommend 2 sets of tires though.

Thats true, Bigbadboss101 led me to the right place. you can get some nice tires for under 100 bucks a tire.

for right now im talking summer, im sure i can get some really nice rims with rubber for a decent price. For the stockies id throw some winter tires on the wheels and store them for the winter. I do alot of snowboarding and winters are a must for me.
