Does anyone know if all UK Audis from 1995 model year onwards come
with a factory-fitted immobiliser?

Thanks. I was able to confirm this with Audi UK and the local main
dealer. It became standard from 1994 model year onwards. But
apparently there is no indication on the dashboard on earlier models
that this is the case.
