Hi, I'm new here, this is my first ever post,

I have an A4, 2002, Quattro, 1.8t, automatic...I really love that car!

Its my 9th car overall

(Honda accord 1982 hatchback...remember??...Daihatsu Charade 1986, Fiat uno S 1989, Renault 5 1985, Jeep Cherokee 1992, Acura Integra 1996 (loved that car!), Wolkwagen Jetta 1.8T 2000 (worst piece of s...ever built!!), Nissan Pathfinder 2001 (best truck ever built) and now my Audi A4 2002, Quattro, 1.8t.

Never had a car that handles like this on the road, incredible comfort and stability for long trips, so versatile, big enough, fast enough (well...could be a little quicker to respond @ speeds over 100km/h), best thing after a 4X4 truck in the snow!


I had a problem, it stopped by itself now, but for a few months, everytime I started the car, there was a beeping sound coming from the back of the car (like 3-4 beeps) ...anybody knows what that was? should I do something about it?

At 105$ hourly rate, I try to keep as far away as possible from the Audi garage!!

Also, I'm trying to change the headlight bulb....I think I gotta buy the book...any ideas?

 

The beeping sound from the back I belive is that the battery for you alarm system might need attention! I suggest getting this ross-tech.com and runing it to see what the fault codes are. As for changing the headlight bulb is pretty simple it is a plug and play application if you buy the right bulb. I suggest taking the lightbulb out first than going to the store to get one.
