No humm sound when you open door
just as the title says.. Been noticing , i don't hear the humm/buzz sound when the door opens, although car starts normally and when you turn the ignition to ACC the pump primes normally..
Anything i can check ?

put your phone in video recording mode, leave it underneath the car (do this in a quiet area), open the car door, and then check the video recorded on your phone to see if you hear the LPFP/HPFP hum/buzz.
I had this issue on my GTI, 2.0T EA888 2nd Gen, and I did this to make sure the LPFP/HPFP activates when I open the car door. I hope this helps.
