Hello everyone,

We have a 2011 Q7 TDI, the issue that we are having is;

We go to start it and it clicks, the computer says battery low - after we put a charger on it, and its green we try again and still nothing (just clicks)

We try to boost it from the boost points under the hood...and it starts.

After we turn the vehicle off we are back to the same problem where it doesn't start.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Assuming you're under warranty, have you had a dealer check it out? I am not 100% familiar with TDI engines but it could be the alternator.

Similar thing happened to mine. I went away for 5 days and left the car at the airport. Came back to clicking noise, battery low message, and the car did not start. Got a boost, car statered, and everything was fine for about 2 weeks. This time, I had left it in the garage for 2 days and when I needed to go out, it wouldn't start. No noise, no messages. Called for a flatbed to tow to the dealer but he was able to start it after several attempts and followed me to the dealership (nice!) where I dropped it off. Dealership told me I needed a new battery which was replaced free of charge under warranty (even nicer!).
