Swapping Driver Door
Hello everyone,
I recently picked up an '09 Q7 3.6L. It was in immaculate condition except for the front driver's door, which has rust right under the door handle. I came across another '09 Q7 being parted out, the same colour. I'm tempted to take the driver's door and swap it onto mine. The process seems straightforward, except for the fact that the driver door also has the key tumbler. Would I need to pull out the tumbler from my old door and swap it onto the new one for keyed entry to work? Is there any other programming to watch out for to make it work?
