I believe you don't have the adaptive headlight unit.
Check your scheduled maintenance book. On the second page there s/b vehicle info system sticker i.e.
VIN:
Build Date:
Engine Code:
Transmission Code:
Option Code:
Use the VIN decoder and it should tell you what kind of headlight type you have for your vehicle.
Also in the Option Code list of options installed in your vehicle

[Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] -> Byte 4 Bit 0 - Change 0 to 1
*Headlights must be on without Fog Lights for this to work.

That's a pretty interesting feature... The AFS/cornering feature of the bi-xenons...can that be added too if a vehicle doesn't have it? Or do cars with that have different headlights or other hardware?
