hey i couldnt wait to read ur whole msg, i stopped at mississauga. LOL
I just got a car from the same dealer, i ordered it mid march and got it mid april.
Q5 Premium plus, nav, panaramic roof.
Now, i got tint on the front 2 windows, though not as dark as the back ones (35%, back are 20%).
I got them done at audi, took like 30 min, cost $450 after tax.
I got them done like last week.
I would say just go for it and do it at the dealer, its pretty good.

$450 is very steep. Dealers don't do the tinting themselves. They hire 3rd party vendors to come on site and do the tint. The guy that did my tint used to do tinting for uptown Audi. He charged Audi 200 dollars and Audi charges over $400. He did my Q5 front tints with life time warranty for $170.00.

It's said and done now, enjoy it but your next car tint it private and save your cash.

You really got ripped off - Our dealer charged us $150 for tint.

Sounds more reasonable as I was quoted $70. per window for ours ...

Wow, even $70 per window is crazy expensive. I got both of my front windows tinted for $75 total.
