What are the options for the extended warranties. Is there a 7 year 160,000km warranty? I asked about it at my dealer and am waiting to hear back. I read somewhere you have to get this warranty within a few days of purchasing the vehicle.

 

There is such warranty, at least at my dealer. You can buy it anytime before your factory warranty expires, so you are fine. No rush to get within "a few days".

 

It was funny when I bought my Q5 they not only didn't offer me extended they didn't even try and up sell. Down town Audi Toronto.

if you will sell the car before 65K, you probably will not need the extend warranty. I think the extend warrant is cover up to 7 years / 160K or something. Last week the pitched me that package and it selling for almost $4000 if I remember correctly.

The extended warrantee is from Audi Canada. It extends your original warrantee for up to 7 years or 140,000 kms. Cost is dependent on length of warrantee and how soon you purchase it. It is cheapest within the first year/ 20,000 kms. This product was not offered in 2010, only when the 2011 models came in.
