Good day all,

Attached are some pictures of my new 2011 3.2P Deep Sea Blue with interior.

They were taken just before I drove off the dealer lot.

When it gets warmer, I will take some pics of the rear headset players

MarcG -Very nice combo. Congratulations! You will love it.

I also bought my Q5 2.0T from Prestige in DDO. They offer great service.

Cheers!

So far so good.

I've openned the manual (quick guide) for the first time yesterday.

Started to look at the remote starter operation also.

So far, the MMI is intuitive enough to be used without the manual but with the NAV, I feel I need to get to the book to extract the most of the system.

ITouch connected flawlessly the first time. Have not tried to see if an address in contact list in the Itouch can be read/transferred over to the Nav.

Thanks Mike,

No trip planned soon.

Next trip is in Panorama, BC for a ski week. Don't plan to drive there:cool:
Just have a week vacation.

Might have to go to Quebec City in the spring (Easter time) for a quick visit

Hi Marc,

Just an FYI some of us here on the forum changed our fog lights to HID and all interior lights to LED -Looks amazing.. I am in the process of doing it this week, however there are some pictures here on the forum. If interested just say the word and I'll give you the contact.

Hi Rocco

Not saying no but right now have to digest the post Xtmas expenditures...;)

It is something I might consider in the future though.

Hey Rocco,

Are you doing the HID/LED switch through someone who did it for others on this forum?
I'm interested but I don't want to dish in the money and have it fail on me within a month or so.

I've heard bad things about the life lenght of those bulbs.
Can anyone confirm it's a switch that will last?

Anyhow, I would like you to send me the contact if possible so I can do it later on if it works out well for you.

Thanks
Marco

Marco,

Yes the distributor I got my HID /leds from also supplied many others on this forum and I haven't heard of members having had any issues. They have been tested, and do work without on-board computer errors. In regards to the life span of led vs halogen, Leds do last much much longer.
PM me and I'll give you the contact.. The entire kit which includes HID fogs, dome & map lights, vanity, glove box, all 4 doors, trunk & licence plate is approx. 250$ incl shipping & taxes.

Marco: I was the first guy on this forum to use this distributor's products (LED and HID) I've had them on my car for over 1 year no issues. I've since sent many folks to him barely any issues. This is DIY project. The led bulbs will outlive the life of your car. The HID has a 1 year warranty.

Go here and check my video and pics:

Thanks for the replies Rocco & Warcity, I will definately try this one out very soon.
I don't like the amber look of the fog lights vs the xeon/led headlight, I'll order some 6000K.
